My Recent Experience with a Chiropractor
As some of you know , I may be making a mild comeback in the lifting world to help promote my upcoming internet venture. I wanted to get a view of back xrays to make sure i was good to go. Well, it just so happened Jim Price was raving about his chiropractor and well I am not a real big fan of chiropractors he assured me this guy was the real deal . Now, as an Exercise Physiologist we generally do not always see things as the chiro boys do, but i needed the xrays , so i set the appointment and went.
On a scenic highway just before you get into lawrenceville, I went to see Dr. Louise Caldalvo (sp) (Dr. C.) keep in mind I know the good from the incompetent. After a mini interview, I realized this guy was in fact highly knowledgeable, personable, pro-active , professional, and knows muscle physiology! I have not recommended a chiropractor for over 20 years, but Dr. C. did the xrays, nerve conduction tests, very scientific, and drew me out a game plan for success. I was really blown away, he’s been there for a long time. I don’t know how we missed each other for so long. Yhe office is called A/C Chiropractor. They have a female Dr. also, though i have never met her.
Anyway , they take insurance. He is not bone cracker , but a sharp no nonsense get-r-done kind of guy and I thanked Jim for introducing me to him. I will break the world deadlift record at BBG during our mini meet DEC 12 with his help.
If you got pain, if you just want to prevent injury, or if you just want to ask questions, etc. i STRONGLY suggest giving Dr. C a call. Well it’s actually Jim Price not Pierce but I will forgive you. I have been using AC for over a year and believe me it’s a blessing. I am a Police Officer and wear this belt that holds about 10-14 lbs of gear everyday. i have been doing this for 24 years. Believe me when I tell you what it does to my back. I began using AC at the recomendation of a fellow officer. I know have both my kids going and my wife is still a skeptic but were trying. My daughter dances ballet and has been sincce she was three (now 17). She has told me that she feels so much better and has more energy since seeing Dr. C. My son is active in Baseball and Football and haas not received an injury since going to Dr. C. I believe that the treatment he provides is real and gets results, (just like GEORGE). I do not recommened services to people but this is one that is truely benificial and I believe in helping others. Try it out and see for yourself.
